My video shows tourists laboring up the stairs of the Grand Gallery, the 45-meter-long and approximately 9-meter-tall ceremonial corridor in the Great Pyramid of Giza that leads to the burial chamber of Khufu. Conditions inside the Old Kingdom pharaoh’s monument are hot and humid; you can see visitors in my clip panting as they clutch the handrails during their ascent.
Entering the Great Pyramid requires an additional ticket that costs $1,000 EGP (~$20 USD).
