When it comes to today’s Las Vegas Strip, there’s no place more iconic than the Fountains of Bellagio. Located directly in front of the luxury hotel and casino bearing the same name, the “water feature” (as the property markets the attraction) is the go-to spot for television and movie crews filming in the city. It’s no wonder why; the stunning spectacle of over 1,000 water fountains soaring next to the Strip is unrivaled in America. Synchronized lights that illuminate the display after dark make the nighttime hours the best time to enjoy the fountains.

As my video above shows, visitors congregate around the fountains on Las Vegas Boulevard, awaiting the presentation to come to life. Displays, all of which are free, occur at regular intervals: Monday-Friday is every 30 minutes from 3 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m.-midnight. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are every 30 minutes from noon-7:30 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m.-midnight.
