My video takes you through the entrance of Luxor Temple, a massive structure that was built during ancient Egypt’s New Kingdom. It ends with a view of the Great Colonnade Hall. The temple complex, which was one of the most important religious centers in the former Egyptian capital of Thebes, was constructed incrementally across a timeline that spanned centuries. Notable pharaohs like Amenhotep III, Ramses II, and Tutankhamun oversaw portions of its additions. It’s located approximately 3 kms from the ruins of Karnak.
