Video of Jerónimos Monastery’s Quadrangle (Lisbon)

The manicured lawn of the quadrangle surrounds a bubbling fountain at the Jerónimos Monastery in Lisbon, Portugal. The landmark, which was built in the 16th century during the Age of Discovery, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the capital city’s most popular tourist attractions. The monastery is open seven days a week from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. An adult ticket costs $12 EUR (~$13 USD), and entry is free for children 12 and under.
