Built in the 1870s by Samuel Pugh Hamilton (“The Lord of Lafayette Square”), the Hamilton-Turner Inn was recently named the most romantic hotel in America by USA Today 2019 Readers’ Choice awards. Several guests at the inn have reported hearing strange noises that were perhaps emanating from beyond the grave.
