I am shown hiking on Grandview Trail as the sun rises over Arizona’s Grand Canyon. Built in 1893, the old mining route leads to a spectacular vista near Horseshoe Mesa. The National Park Service considers the out-and-back trail, which is around 8 miles (12.8 kms) with a net elevation gain/loss of approximately 5,000 feet (1,524 m), to be strenuous.
