I am shown swimming at the base of DeSoto Falls at DeSoto State Park in Alabama. The 107-feet-high (32.6 meters) waterfall is the most popular attraction at the park, which also features miles of hiking trails. To learn about a medieval legend that’s connected to the park, click to read my feature article “Alabama: The Mystery of the Welsh Caves.” You can also watch my high-resolution video that shows me walking through DeSoto State Park’s Welsh Caves.
