I am shown in the cavern behind DeSoto Falls at DeSoto State Park in Alabama. The room behind the 107-feet-high (32.6 meters) waterfall is only accessible by a difficult swim in cold water. There’s another cave system at the park that’s connected to a medieval legend, one that a claims a Welsh prince settled in the area in the 12th century.
