Easily the most recognizable building in Sedona, the Chapel of the Holy Cross perfectly accentuates the red rock desert landscape of central Arizona. The church, which is on Chapel Rd., was completed in 1956 at a cost of $300k USD. Mass and adoration occurs regularly on Wednesdays and Fridays. Some consider the chapel to be one of Sedona’s vortexes, which are places that supposedly emanate extraordinary levels of energy from the earth.
