Video of Bright Angel Trailhead (Grand Canyon N.P., AZ)

The first rays of the sunrise cast light over Arizona’s Grand Canyon as I walk near the Bright Angel Trailhead. The hiking route is the most popular at the world-famous park. Dropping over 4,000 feet (1,219 m) in approximately nine miles (14.5 kms) from its starting point on the South Rim, the Bright Angel Trail crosses the Colorado River at Silver Bridge. It then converges with the North Kaibab Trail and South Kaibab Trail near Phantom Ranch.
