An intricately designed relief sculpture containing Maya symbology is shown near the towering temple of Caana at Caracol Natural Monument Reservation, Belize. Studying it closely, you can see two faces. The Maya often created sculptures that interwove elements of the human world with ones from surrounding natural environments, especially when depicting the majesty of their kings and queens.
