The partially faded mural of a ferocious mountain lion is shown near the northern end of the Avenue of the Dead at the mysterious ruins of central Mexico’s Teotihuacán. The painting is close to the Pyramid of the Moon, where ancient sacrificial remains of the apex predator have been recovered by archaeologists.
