A sculpture of the Old Fire God is displayed at the museum of Teotihuacán near Mexico City. The ancient deity is also referred to as Huehueteotl, an Nahuatl name meaning “old old god.” The Old Fire God is depicted as an elderly figure seated cross-legged, grimacing under the weight of a circular basin.
