Cliff Palace stands in the morning shadows at Mesa Verde National Park, CO. Built by the Ancestral Pueblo people sometime around the 13th century CE, it’s the largest cliff dwelling that has been discovered in North America. The ruins of Cliff Palace, which had a capacity of over 100 residents during Mesa Verde’s inhabitance, are only accessible via guided tour.
