The ruins of Chetro Ketl are the remnants of the second largest Ancestral Puebloan great house at Chaco Culture National Historical Park in remote northwestern New Mexico. Spanning over three acres in the important Native American regional center of Chaco Canyon, Chetro Ketl was a multi-story complex that was inhabited between approximately 950-1250 CE. In terms of Chacoan great houses, only Pueblo Bonito was larger. Click the above image to enlarge, or click to view my high-resolution photo gallery.
