The Wright Brothers National Memorial, which commemorates the world’s first powered flight, towers under the afternoon sun in the Outer Banks town of Kill Devil Hills, NC. Orville and Wilbur Wright accomplished the historic feat on December 17, 1903, in what was then part of Kitty Hawk, changing the way we travel forever.
