The statue of U.S. Sergeant William Jasper, a Revolutionary War hero, stands in the middle of Madison Square in Savannah. The park was the site of an important front during the Revolutionary War’s Siege of Savannah, and many believe it’s haunted by the spirits of fallen soldiers.
